The cat’s finally out of the bag; well it’s almost out of the bag. Rockstar today announced a March 2012 release for Max Payne 3 but haven’t locked down on a date yet. Still after the years of silence, that’s good enough for us. Apparently Max Payne has now moved to Brazil to work for a rich industrialist working private security. Of course the brown stuff hits the fan pretty fast and when the industrialist’s family comes under threat from a local gang, Max undoubtedly brings the Payne (had to).
Max brings the Payne
New to the game is the inclusion of multiplayer, something I’m sure this series could have done without. According to Rockstar's site, “Max Payne 3 multiplayer delivers a compelling experience that dynamically alters maps and mode progression for all players in a match. Along with traditional multiplayer modes, Max Payne 3 will also include a deep reward and leveling system, persistent clans and multiple strategic load-out options.”
Vests allow him more freedom in a firefight
While I have my doubts with multiplayer on this game, Rockstar did manage to pull it off just fine in GTA IV and Red Dead redemption so it could be fun. In the meantime check out the two new screens released by Rockstar.
