Sony Buys Rights To Steve Jobs Upcoming Movie !!

Sony has reportedly bought the movie rights to Walter Isaacson's upcoming authorized biography of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs.

According to a report from Deadline, the movie will be a Management 360 production —the studio that made "The Social Network" and "Moneyball".

Isaacson's 448-page biography "Steve Jobs" had its release date moved up to Oct. 24 following the news of Jobs's death last week. It quickly shot to the top of Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble's best-sellers lists.

Up to this point, the only movie made about Jobs's life was the movie "Pirates of Silicon Valley" starring  Noah Wyle as Jobs and former Brat Pack member Anthony Michael Hall as Bill Gates.

Job's death certificate was released Monday, revealing that he died at home on Oct. 5 and was buried in a non-denominational cemetery on Oct. 7, Bloomberg reported. The certificate listed his cause of death as respiratory arrest tied to his years-long battle with pancreatic cancer.
